Louisa Ho, MD, a nephrologist at Endeavor Health, brings a collaborative and analytical approach to kidney care. Care philosophy
I focus on engaging the patient and communicating clearly about their care. Understanding the problem through labs, imaging and history is only half the work—the other half is helping the patient and their family understand what I’m thinking, what the options are and how we can move forward together. If someone doesn’t want to follow a treatment plan, I want to know why and work through that with them.

Dr Ho is an excellent doctor and communicator. She was very thorough and easy to talk to. She was willing to both explain how orders are made in the system and how to read them in my chart so that when labs are ordered, I will not have an issue at the lab site. New medications were explained as to their benefits, as well as cost. I would highly recommend her, and in fact, have already done so!

DR Ho is without a doubt, one of the best doctors I have ever gone to her clarity on what's happening with me and her expert advice on how to handle it, she's very polite and extremely friendly a very comfortable atmosphere. I just hope she stays around so many of my other doctors at North Shore have been leaving.
