Dr. Widmeyer is very patient-centric. She takes the time to see the patient first as a person, and second as as a medical problem to address. She has a very pleasant personality which I believe enhances her trustworthiness with patients. One develops the the perception that she truly cares about her patients' outcomes. She also comes across as super knowledgeable, yet adept and patient, and caring when discussing medical concerns with patients. I haven't seen that many doctors over my 68 years, but so far, I like her the best. That's not to say that I didn't like many of the other physicians who've treated me; it is that Dr. Widmeyer really stands out as exceptional in this regard.

I saw Dr. Widmeyer for one visit and left genuinely impressed. She's that rare neurologist who is both brilliant and human - combining deep expertise with a kind, grounded demeanor and a welcome sense of humor. She listened, asked questions, synthesized my history quickly and thoroughly, did a careful exam, and walked me through her thinking and next steps in clear, plain English. I never felt rushed; she laid out a sensible plan, welcomed all my questions, and I left feeling understood and confident. Highly recommend.

She listened very carefully. She seemed more interested in what I thought than giving me health advice
