Dr. Sheth appears to me to provide clinically sound and reasonable care but her bedside manner is too cold. No effort is made to make me feel relaxed in such a vulnerable state. No positive feedback given in response to weight loss, good lifestyle choices like exercise regimen or empathy offered for anything like stress of the visit, difficulty getting prescriptions renewed or questions asked about my anxiety around why I refuse some tests. I don't feel like she wants to get to know or understand me or make me comfortable, just that she is checking the boxes on what needs to be done. Emphasis during the visit is entirely on pressure to get shots, tests, future visits and other activities I need to do. I wanted a physician that would show empathy, understanding care and concern for my feelings and be a partner in my care not someone only interested in telling me what I should do.
