I have never felt so at ease with a physician. I cried at the end of the appointment because I have had a lot of weird symptoms for years and he made me feel validated, immediately ordered tests, and ordered me medications that actually helped me with a condition I've been trying to figure out for 5 years. He was kind, he listened, he took action: the ERs and other practices I have been to have repeatedly ignored me, gaslit me, minimized me, and left me hanging: "well good news bone marrow biopsy says it's not leukemia sooo good luck figuring it out". Instead if that he actually listened and began trying to find a solution/answer for me. The relief I felt leaving this office was unmatched from any other doctor's appointment I have ever had: and I've been everywhere trying to find someone to help, in and out of the hospital with critical labs. My experience in this office gave me hope that I might be able to engage in a healthy normal life again, and at 29 with multiple chronic conditions and severe pain, difficulty walking, memory problems, no immune system, who would like to be a mom one day that was something I didn't think I was ever going to feel again. I really felt seen. I felt like the life I have my fingers crossed for has a chance to actually happen and I haven't been able to allow myself to think that in a long time. The nurses were thoughtful and were openly working with therapeutic communication and making sure I had happy tears not sad ones: it's clear the staff is good at what they do in this office. I felt more seen and safe than any other practice I have been to. Dr.G is my game changer.
