My endeavor is to make each patient feel valued, to feel as though they could be my own grandmother or my own parent; I want them to know I am there for them personally.

Dr. Brownell is fully attentive to my problems, concerns, questions and comments. She always answers directly and tries to be clearl so I understand her reasoning in ordering lab tests and other screenings. She treats me as a partner in my care, usually offers available options, and considers my preferences when possible. I feel that she takes the time to make sure she has heard all my concerns. One suggestion is that if she has multiple instructions, make sure they are very clear in My Chart after the visit, because it is sometimes hard to remember everything discussed.

Dr Brownell is very x thorough and patient. She takes time to cover all bases, asks many questions and listens with full attention to my questions and comments. When I called with a problem, the receptionist and nurse were very helpful, got my message to the doctor, and got back to me with answers in a timely manner.

I saw Dr.Brownell for the first time as she was available when my primary was booked for another 3 weeks. I had arrived home from a trip to Iceland for 10 days. Upon a late arrival at home, the next day I was unusually spaced out and tired all day. By the 3rd day I still felt very poorly with my brain in a fog. Therefore I contacted my primary and was able to see Dr. Brownell the same day. She checked my out very well and with great care. She phoned in a Paxlovid prescription which I was able to start that evening for 5 full days. Ten days later I still am a bit groogy and tired all the time.
