About Ruhi Shariff, MD
Ruhi Shariff, MD, an internal medicine physician at Endeavor Health, cares for adults with a wide range of medical needs and provides support through every stage of life. Her approach integrates palliative care principles to help patients understand the bigger picture, make informed decisions and live in alignment with their values. Dr. Shariff takes a holistic view of health, recognizing the importance of physical, emotional, social and cultural factors in patient care.
My endeavor
My endeavor is to help a special group of patients and support them with my team at Endeavor. One of the biggest challenges for patients is reaching their doctor and care team. That’s why we’ve built a supportive, approachable team to ensure we’re there when they need us.
Care philosophy
A great physician treats the patient with the disease, not just the disease itself. To do that, I consider the whole person—including their physical, mental, emotional and social needs—and respect their values, beliefs and privacy at every step of their care journey.

A very perfunctory yearly visit. Dr Sharif barely looked into my medical history or asked any questions. She glanced at my skin, noted that I had many moles and then, based on the 1/8 to 1/4 of my skin visible, told me that they all looked ok and I'm fine. Thankfully I see a dermatologist who has caught and removed several precancerous moles. If I was relying on Dr Sharif, I'd just assume everything was okay and I'd probably have skin cancer by now! Who knows what else she misses! I usually see a different doctor but couldn't be fit into her schedule so went with who was available. I won't make the mistake of booking with Dr Sharif again and will instead wait for an appointment with my regular doctor.

Best doctor I've had. I had been coughing for weeks and trying different medications. I had a chest xray and nothing was working. I saw her and in one visit, which felt smooth, easy, and quick, I was prescribed medications that started working on the first day. She knew exactly what I needed and made me feel 100% comfortable. She even asked how my son was doing. He was in the office weeks prior, pediatrics, and just finished his medications for walking pneumonia.

Dr. Shariff is GREAT! She didn't have any available appointments until July but my ER doc wanted me to see my GP within 3 days. She made herself available and squeezed me in which is greatly appreciated.
