Dr. Goodwin is a very kind and compassionate person. I worked in the medical field for most of my adult life and he is by far the best. Does not rush through appointment and stops to ask if you understand and have any questions. Being associated with a teaching hospital he has a resident who is well on his way to following in Dr.Goodwins footsteps. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate Dr. Goodwin a 12!

Dr. Goodwin was incredibly respectful and kind. My case is relatively unique being a trans person, but Dr. Goodwin was clearly both experienced in care for trans individuals, and more than willing to help me get the care I need. He spoke to me in a way that showed he trusted my judgment and took me seriously, which Is very important to me as a younger adult. Lastly, he addressed all of my questions thoroughly, and brought up any concerns he had that I wasn't aware of.

The doctor seemed irritated that I was asking so many questions. I asked for a hormone panel, which I now know is not a test. I wanted to test my hormones to see if there's anything else going on and I was honestly just trying to advocate for myself. The doctor seemed irritated with me and was a bit rude. I understand that I'm coming from a space Of learning and not knowing, but I would've appreciated a little bit more guidance and compassion from my service provider. I don't think our entire exchange lasted more than 10 minutes. I left the appointment feeling put off by him. I not looking forward to seeing this doctor again. I'm hoping if I have to communicate with him that it will be through the portal in the future.

He brought to my attention a left neck swelling I hadn't previously noticed. He treats you as if you're his only patient-efficient but neither hurried nor brusque. I like him a lot as I pay attention to a previously unknown gland with a misleading name.
