About Shannon Pettit, MD
Shannon Pettit, MD, an obstetrician gynecologist at Endeavor Health, provides care for women through every stage of life. She supports patients with a variety of needs including routine gynecologic care, pregnancy and childbirth, menopause and concerns such as fibroids or abnormal bleeding. Dr. Pettit believes in creating care plans through shared decision-making and is committed to helping patients gain knowledge and confidence in their health.
My endeavor
My endeavor is to share the knowledge I have in a way that empowers my patients. When I ask them to do the hard work of making behavior changes, I hold myself to that same standard—continually growing so I can better support their health.
Care philosophy
I’m not here to tell you what we have to do. I’m here to listen to what you have to say and to help us come up with a plan that checks both of our boxes. Because at the end of the day, we’re doing this as a team.

I think she is an amazing doctor and she runs late for the women who are pregnant but to be informed she's running late and I had to leave due being there an hour and still wasn't seen and had to leave

She was very knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. It felt like we were having a normal conversation. She listened to me and my concerns, answered all my questions, and she was fast and efficient with my exam talking me through it and letting me know each step she was taking as she did it. She talked to me about my past history as well which was nice to go over and discuss. She took the time to inform me of all my options in the future. I did not feel rushed or like she was just trying to get the visit over with. It was 5:30 pm and I feel like I got the same level of care as I would have if it was 11:00 am. 10/10 experience
