Dr. Spiess is the best! I wanted to continue my colonoscopies on a triennial basis, and she took the time to sit down with me and review my options. She said that I could proceed on that basis and arranged an appointment for me for the procedure.

I was excited to actually see a GI, MD instead of an APN, thinking the MD would have more ideas. I needed the doctor to really lean and really hear me. I was hoping for new insights, new directions. She was polite and provided basic information, most of which I already knew. My PCP had recommended I reach out to GI but it was pretty much a waste of time, probably for her as well

I saw Dr. Spiess in January 2025 and June 2025 with abdomen pain and severe bloat and distention. She was insensitive, unhelpful, and did NOT examine me at either appointment. She had zero empathy for my symptoms and being worse 6 months later.
