I was highly impressed by Dr Kim, his office staff and surgical team. I was in significant discomfort, with a rather uncomfortable part of my body to be examined. However, the office staff was so friendly. Dr Kim made me very comfortable. When it was time for surgery, it was shocking to be at a hospital that so clearly made client satisfaction a high priority. But most importantly, I was able to get in to Dr Kim quickly. Other places in the city took a couple months... No bueno.

One week after hip replacement, my colon twisted and created a bowel blockage. The colon was temporarily untwisted, but surgery was required for a permanent fix. Because of the temporary untwisting, a scheduled laparoscopic robotic procedure was possible instead of emergency open surgery. Dr Kim performed the surgery, which I understand is a very complex procedure. Both pre and post op, he and his team were great about explaining things and leaving room for questions. Because of the risks of colon surgery so soon after hip surgery, Dr Kim reached out to talk with my ortho surgeon about special precautions. Dr. Kim Is clearly very skilled - I have healed surprisingly fast with no complications, and I have heard unsolicited opinions from other doctors about his capabilities. And he has been great post-op - professional but easy to talk with and caring.
