Tara Atta, MD, a noninvasive cardiologist at Endeavor Health, focuses on preventing heart disease before it leads to life-altering events. Dr Atta broke things down for me so that it was clear what my diagnosis is, why this is the case, and the recommended plan of action. This is how I function as a corporate leader and she handled my health like a physician leader who is enabling me to navigate my health. She had a balance of knowledge and empathy that is incomparable and I want her to be my Cardiologist for life. I think Dr. Atta is a good cardiologist. Her social skills are unconventional and I leave feeling as if we have an adversarial relationship. She asks if I have questions, but when I do, the tone makes me feel as if I've somehow misbehaved. I'm trying to understand. I'm sure there's a schedule to keep, but I was not unreasonable.

I absolutely loved her, wish all care providers were just like her, answers your questions without making you feel stupid, she shows care and compassion. Does not make you feel you have to rush through your concerns. Just very pleasant. And the ladies at reception, I can't say enough about them, greet you with smiles and wonderful attitudes, kind of the me off as you don't see that much these days, this was a first in many office visits to other offices.

I did not feel heard. Dr. Atta was very dismissive and short. I felt rushed and anxious. She seemed easily frustrated by questions and would cut me off before I could finish my thought. She assumes what you're going to ask. I was very uncomfortable and will be seeing someone else in the future. I can imagine her job is stressful, but as a patient I was nervous seeing a cardiologist too. I am stressed about my health and would prefer someone who actually sees me.
