My doctor and her assistants were wonderful for the visit. But there was a miscommunication when I was given a special blood pressure measurement. My doctor said that she would return after the measurement was taken. When the measurement concluded the lady who took it said that my appointment was finished. I said that my doctor was returning. She said that she would check. She didn't return. After 10 minutes, I opened my examining room door and asked some people sitting behind the desk. They looked my name up and said I could go.[...] The way the appointment ended was unsettling.

Dr Stewart is phenomenal. She was running late and I'd been told that. When she came in, we had a number of "heavy" issues to discuss and she took a lot of time with me despite running late. I apologize to the patients after me but I really appreciated all the time she took and her genuine concern for my overall well being. I know whenever she's running late, it's because she's taking the time needed with each and every patient. You're not just a number to be checked off the list.
