I appreciated Dr. Mathenia's honesty about what he could and couldn't do for me. He truly seemed to be sorry that he wasn't able to do more for me but was extremely amiable about helping me monitor the tumor in my head going forward. Though I'm disappointed that I can't get some answers about many of my symptoms, even Mayo Clinic couldn't explain them so I definitely don't fault Dr. Mathenia for not being able to explain them. I thought he was great - particularly for a neurologist. My experience with neurologists is that they have no empathy and aren't interested in listening to the patient. Dr. Mathenia was completely opposite.
