About Walter Whang, MD
Walter J. Whang, MD, a psychiatrist at Endeavor Health, is board certified in psychiatry and has extensive experience in both clinical care and medical education. Dr. Whang truly cares about his patients and is one of the last remaining providers who makes me feel seen and heard while being treated.

I have been with Dr. Whang for close to 30 years. I am bipolar 1 with psychotic features. He has always been there for me and knows me like an open book. I couldn't imagine working with anyone else.

Dr. Whang always does a good job of explaining to me exactly how I am doing and why he prescribes certain medications and what the results of my blood test mean, etc. I appreciate his help with my situation. Also, he even shares a little about himself, which helps me to better understand some things that are confusing to me.

Dr. Whang has kept me fuctioning through the illness and death of my father and now the diagnosis of cancer for my husband. I don't think there is another doctor with his skill at creating custom cocktails of meds.
