Zahab Ahsan, MD, a board-certified orthopaedic sports surgeon at Endeavor Health, specializes in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle. He completed fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery. Drawing on his experience with professional athletes, including Chicago Fire FC (MLS), Dr. Ahsan applies elite recovery principles to every plan and stays closely involved throughout each stage. He was friendly and took the time to explain to me the results of my MRI and talk with me about solutions. I was very impressed with the after-visit folder and surgery booklet his office provided. Dr Ashan, was very attentive, polite and thorough with explaining my issue and options. After my initial visit, I had additional questions and needed a bit more clarification. I sent him a list of 5 detailed question and he called me that day or the next and went through them 1 at a time and again was very patient and thorough, making me feel more comfortable about the process and my decision.
