Investing in the health and wellness of our communities is a true reflection of our mission “to help everyone in our communities be their best.”

At Endeavor Health, our broad Community Benefit commitment is literally the way we bring that mission to life, living our promise to prioritize the health and wellness of community members we care for within and beyond the walls of our hospitals and care sites.

As a nonprofit health system, we show up every day with the understanding that clinical care only accounts for about 20% of health outcomes. Supporting neighbors in need with partnerships that extend into homes, schools and community organizations is critical to improving lives and bettering individual and overall community wellness.

To that end, in 2025 Endeavor Health provided $553.9 million in community benefits, or $1.5 million every single day. These significant investments focus on community health priorities with an eye toward long-term, life-changing partnership and sustainability.

Expanding access to care

“At Endeavor Health, Community Benefit is about bringing the strengths of our health system together with the strengths of our communities to improve health in ways that neither of us could achieve alone,” said Endeavor Health System Vice President, Community Engagement Kate Lawler. “Through these partnerships, we can expand access to care, address the conditions that shape health, and create healthier futures for everyone we serve.

The largest chunk of our Community Benefit investment relates to the care provided in our hospitals and other care facilities where we improve access to care by removing obstacles from financial burdens to language barriers.

Building stronger communities

Equally impactful are the crucial investments that happen outside our hospital walls that address social drivers of health (SDOH), including housing and food insecurity, behavioral health and access to care.

Endeavor Health’s Community Investment Fund (CIF) strengthens the ecosystem of important organizations in our community with vital grants and long-term partnerships that help transform and build stronger communities. Since its inception in 2022, the CIF has awarded $38.5 million and positively impacted more than 1.1 million individuals with these strategic and transformational awards.

By addressing SDOH in the communities we serve with these important investments we strive to prevent and manage problems before they escalate further, ultimately saving lives and reducing financial and other strains on our healthcare system and team members.

And team members are active volunteers with local partner organizations that alleviate food insecurity, bridge gaps with medical respite care and improve access to essential behavioral health resources and more.

  • $432.9M healthcare access: Reduced financial barriers and increased access to care
  • $84M research and training: Funded vital research and trained the next generation of clinicians
  • $15.8M public health and education: Provided free health education and wellness resources
  • $13.6M community giving: Invested in local nonprofits, tracked community members’ volunteer hours and provided volunteer support
  • $7.6M language access: Provided medical interpretations for patients and families
