Hurmina Muqtadar, MD, a neurologist at Endeavor Health, specializes in vascular neurology and the management of stroke and cerebrovascular disease. Dr Muqtadar is fantastic. I never dread an appointment. Getting multiple shots in the head and face is never pleasant but I always enjoy conversations with her, she is always pleasant, funny and willing to spend the time to answer any questions I might have. A true asset to the medical profession!

Dr. Muqtadar is literally one of one. When we'd talk about medical conditions or procedures that may have to be taken, everything is a normal conversation with her, which has made this process much easier for me. That's one reason why she's been my neurologist for 15 years.

I waited a week to complete this survey because I wanted to be fair. I honestly felt like a number of- very little of my 40 minute new patient visit was actually spent with me. Doctor had no previous experience with me or my records and did not attempt to gain much understanding. Just switched my meds and said come back in 3 months.

I love having Dr Muqtadar as my neurologist. She's been my migraine doctor for so many years that I've lost count. I appreciate how much she remembers of my treatment history as well as my personal history, and always remembers personal details of my life as well as key medical information for the appointment. I've recommended her to several people, and even had her added as the preferred referral recommendation for neurology for my non-Endeavor physical therapy practice, for when they need to refer/recommend a neurologist for their patients, because of how much and how often I have talked about how good of a physician Dr Muqtadar is. My only complaint is that it can be hard to schedule with her, due to how busy she is. And that sometimes appointments are canceled and need to be rescheduled. Both of those things are problematic because I see her for Botox for migraines injections, which must be on a strict every-12-weeks schedule. If I can't get in until 15 weeks (which is what happened with trying to schedule my next appointment at this visit), then it throws off the whole Botox schedule and I get a return of severe migraines for several weeks. Same thing if a scheduled 12th week appointment is canceled for whatever reason and had to be rescheduled for sometime later on. For me, the Botox wears off around week 10.5 anyway, so not getting in until weeks 13+ is really not good. I wish there was a way to prioritize the Botox patients appointments so I can stay on the 12-week cycle, or even be allowed to schedule a whole year's worth of appointments all at one time so that I'm guaranteed to stay on track.

Very impressed with how much time Dr Muqtadar spent explaining things to me when I expressed an interest in changing medications and how thorough she was overall. She answered every question thoroughly, making sure I truly understood. Dr Muqtadar is also active in research which explains why she's so up-to-date on the newest potential treatments. Overall, I was just very pleased.
