Participating in fitness classes provides motivation to keep moving, builds community, and provides a schedule that improves health and fitness benefits.

Our group fitness classes include everything from strength and cardio to dance, mobility and mind-body formats. Choose from Yoga, Zumba, Boot Camp, Pilates Mat, and a wide variety of MOSSA Group Fitness classes, including Group Core, Group Groove, Group Power, R30 and more — all led by certified instructors and designed for every level.

Online reservations for group fitness and focused fitness classes are available 72 hours in advance through the member portal under Class Schedule. Reservations are available over the phone 48 hours in advance through the courtesy desk.

Our virtual class schedule gives you access to 50+ classes weekly. Join live Zoom sessions from home. Virtual memberships are available.

Register for virtual classes up to a week in advance on the member portal. Click on the class in the My Upcoming Classes window to join. Please note the “Click to Join” button will not be displayed until 10 minutes before start time.

This program offers more than 20 weekly small-group specialty classes that offer a more personalized experience with expert instructors. Programs include Barre, HIIT 360, TRX, SwimFit, Pilates Stretch & Springs and more. Join for a monthly fee and receive 10 class passes to drop-in. To upgrade your membership to include the Focused Fitness program, contact the membership office.

Aquatic programs

Our warm water pools support everything from swim instruction to high-intensity cardio to therapeutic recovery. Whether you're new to the water or looking to improve your technique, you'll find options that meet your needs and fitness level.

Aquatic group fitness classes including: Aqua Blast, Aqua Mix, Aqua Zumba, Aqua Yoga and Aqua Arthritis Exercise (AAE) are available on our free group fitness schedule. 

We also offer small group classes for children and adults looking to learn how to swim or improve skills as well as Masters Swim and SwimFit for endurance training. Reservations are required for all classes, programs, and pool lane access. Pool lane reservations can be reserved up to 1 hour per day. If you are not present on the pool deck 10 minutes after your lane reservation start time, your spot may be forfeited to a waitlist participant.

Aquababies

Aquababies is a parent-child swim class dedicated to educating parents on water safety while acclimating their child to water in a safe setting. Our warm water pools and certified instructors create an ideal environment for introducing first-time swimmers to the water through creative games designed to progressively teach the fundamentals of swimming. Parents will learn the appropriate ways to hold their child in the water while their child develops motor skills related to swimming, such as supported kicking, back floats and jumps. At the end of the lessons your child will be ready to participate in Galter Life Center’s Learn-to-Swim program.

Learn-to-Swim

The Learn-to-Swim program is designed for children 3-8 years old who have advanced through our Aquababies program and/or are ready to learn to swim independently in a group setting. The on-deck lead will keep you informed of your child’s progress and will address your needs. Children must be able to perform all of the skills taught in the preceding Learn-to-Swim group before being allowed to participate in higher-level classes.

Swim Club

Swim Club provides a progressive swimming pathway for individuals who have graduated from the Learn-to-Swim program and are able and ready to begin swimming in the west pool. The program is led by experienced and certified competitive coaches dedicated to improving students’ technique, stroke development and endurance. Students must be able to perform all of the skills taught in the preceding Swim Club group before being allowed to participate in higher-level classes.

Adult Learn-to-Swim 1
Designed for someone who is just starting out. Adult Learn-to-Swim 1 will address skills ranging from conquering fears all the way up to fundamentals of swimming (breathing, floating, freestyle/backstroke).

Adult Learn-to-Swim 2
Designed for someone who is getting back into swimming with a basic understanding of the fundamentals of swimming. Adult Learn-to-Swim 2 will focus on specific stroke refinement, breathing technique and endurance progression.

SwimFit

SwimFit is an interval-based swimming workout for anyone who has a basic understanding of swimming and is looking to increase endurance, improve stroke control and build on current abilities. The program is ideal for anyone who is not ready to join Masters Swimming, but wants to swim under the guidance of an instructor.

Masters Swimming

Swimming is one of the most popular forms of aerobic exercise and a great workout for everyone from fitness enthusiast and tri-athletes to non-competitive swimmers. Structured workouts with a coach offer an individualized training experience to help swimmers improve general fitness or train for specific goals.

Explore our latest adult aquatic programs

Work with qualified aquatics instructors to learn how to swim or refine your skills. Swimmers of all levels are welcome and children must be at least three years of age to receive instruction. We offer both solo and duet lessons. Private lessons are scheduled based on instructor, client and pool space availability. All private swim lessons are 30 minutes.

Specialty programs

Our medically integrated program is designed for people recovering from illness, surgery, or managing chronic conditions. Physician referral is required.

HeartFit

Designed for those who have completed cardiac or pulmonary rehab, or anyone with cardiovascular risk factors, HeartFit will provide you with the guidance and support you need to take further responsibility for monitoring your own exercise. This program includes supervised classes with certified personal trainers, as well as access to the fitness center for independent exercise!

Take the first step toward better health. Transform your mind, build your body, and thrive in life with #TBT! This lifestyle program includes three weekly group workouts, focusing on strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. You also receive weekly wellness tips on sleep, hydration, stress and more. This group is welcoming to all fitness levels, especially beginners or those returning to exercise. As you grow, you will develop the mindset and habits to set you up for continued success!

Learn how to reduce incontinence and improve pelvic muscle control through guided instruction and evidence-based movement strategies. You’ll learn to identify crucial muscles in your pelvic floor and easy exercises that take just minutes out of your day and result in rapid improvement! We have classes available to both men and women.

Experience the perfect balance of personalized coaching and group motivation with our Semi-Private Training sessions. Designed for small groups, these workouts provide focused attention from our certified trainers while allowing you to train alongside a few like-minded individuals.

We offer special events to our community all throughout the year to provide incentive, motivation and accountability which all help you stay on track and healthy throughout the year.
