Recovering from eating disorders is a complex and personal process. That’s why we provide comprehensive treatments to address your physical, psychological and nutritional needs. Our approach includes group therapy, individual therapy, medication management, nutritional support and family/social support to help you heal your relationship with food and your body.
These therapeutic approaches may include:
- Enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E): Specifically targets psychological patterns that contribute to eating disorders. CBT-E offers a targeted approach to support your recovery through individual or group therapy, with a focus on changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors related to eating and body image.
- Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT): Helps you develop essential skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance and mindfulness to manage the intense emotions and urges common with eating disorders. This therapy encourages making decisions that align with your personal values and goals.
- Expressive therapy: Offers creative ways to process traumatic experiences and related emotions when words are difficult. Activities like art, music or movement therapy can help you explore feelings, reduce stress and foster healing in a supportive way.
