Organization and school resources
We partner with local organizations and schools across the Chicagoland area to support mental health education efforts. Our team provides crisis response, wellness programming and mental health education and training.
When tragedy occurs in a school, workplace, organization or community, our Healing Team responds. The team is a group of behavioral health professionals trained in crisis response intervention, assessment and counseling. We provide support for teams working through difficult events such as suicide, homicide and workplace or school violence and trauma.
We attend career fairs, health fairs and wellness events. We're here to answer questions, share resources and help families connect to care.
In addition to our mental health professional education series, we provide onsite mental health presentations and training support. Topics span school-focused challenges like anxiety and refusal, bullying and classroom behaviors to community education on mental health fundamentals, grief, depression and seasonal affective disorder. CEUs available for licensed professionals.
School specific services
Our school liaisons work directly with counselors, nurses and administrators throughout a student's treatment. We help plan re-entry, coordinate accommodations and keep communication open so students return to the classroom ready to learn.
Students in our inpatient and partial hospitalization programs work with state-certified teachers for one hour each day during their stay. They stay current with coursework during treatment, which means less to catch up on when they return to school.
