  • Medications: Anti-arrhythmic drugs, beta blockers and anticoagulants can help regulate your heart rhythm and reduce stroke risk.
  • Catheter ablation: This minimally invasive procedure uses heat, cold, or pulsed field energy to repair the heart tissue causing abnormal rhythms.
  • Pacemakers and defibrillators: Pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), including transvenous and subcutaneous types, help monitor and regulate abnormal heart rhythms. Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) and left bundle branch area (LBBA) pacing  improve heart function and blood flow in patients with heart failure.
  • Left atrial appendage occlusion: This technique reduces stroke risk in AFib patients by preventing blood clot formation without the need for blood thinning medications.
  • Lead extraction: For patients with pacemakers or defibrillators, we specialize in repairing or replacing faulty leads — a complex procedure performed by only a few centers with our level of expertise.
  • PFA closure: Pulsed field ablation (PFA) is a nonthermal treatment that targets and isolates the areas of the heart causing atrial fibrillation (AFib), offering a safer approach with less risk to surrounding tissue.
  • Loop recorder implantation: A loop recorder is a small device implanted under the skin to continuously monitor heart rhythms over time, helping diagnose conditions like unexplained fainting or intermittent arrhythmias.
