Structured, collaborative training to prepare newly certified psychiatric APPs for independent clinical practice in behavioral health settings.

About the program

The Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Postgraduate Program at Endeavor Health Medical Group is designed for newly certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants who are hired into the Behavioral Health team. This 8-week program offers enhanced psychiatric education and training prior to independent clinical practice across Endeavor Health hospitals and medical group settings.

The program’s mission is to prepare APPs for full-time clinical roles through focused collaboration and guidance from experienced psychiatric providers. The vision is to expand the psychiatric provider workforce and improve access to care for patients with mental health and substance use disorders.

Training is designed to be convenient and educational, helping APPs gain confidence and competence while awaiting credentialing and hospital privileging.
