The doctoral internship at Endeavor Health Behavioral Health provides immersive, evidence-based training for future clinical psychologists. Our program equips you with the clinical, academic and professional competencies for entry-level practice. The Psychology Internship Doctoral Training Program is a full-time, 12-month training experience (2,000 hours) grounded in the Practitioner-Scholar model. Interns train across inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient settings — offering broad exposure to the range of clinical roles in a behavioral health system.
Interns receive experiential training under the guidance of licensed clinical psychologists who specialize in diverse treatment areas including DBT, ACT, CBT-E, trauma, anxiety and chronic illness. The program emphasizes:

- Evidence-based treatment approaches
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Psychological assessment and case conceptualization
- A commitment to diversity, inclusion and professional ethics
Interns rotate through one of the following specialized tracks:
- Adult Inpatient / Eating Disorders Outpatient Program
- Adolescent Inpatient / Adolescent Mental Health Program
- Health Psychology / Behavioral Health Integration
Each intern also completes a yearly professional-level presentation and three integrative psychological assessments.
Program structure & curriculum
- 12-month, full-time internship
- 1,850 hours of supervised training
- 40 hours/week (20 hours direct patient care)
- Adult Inpatient / Eating Disorders Outpatient: Short-term crisis stabilization and specialized outpatient care for eating disorders, incorporating DBT, ACT and CBT-E.
- Adolescent Inpatient / Adolescent Mental Health: Inpatient and outpatient treatment with training in DBT and ACT for mood, psychotic and behavioral disorders.
- Health Psychology / BHI: Training in integrated behavioral health within medical clinics including pain management, weight loss and oncology settings.
- Complete three integrative batteries across the year
- Two hours/week of individual supervision by licensed psychologists
- Weekly group supervision and didactic seminars
- Motivational interviewing
- Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
- Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
- Legal/ethical issues in behavioral health
- Diversity and cultural humility
- Psychological testing and trauma-informed care
- Completion of a capstone project
- Two-hour professional presentation

40-hour weeks with protected didactics, supervision and wellness resources.
You will receive 18 days of paid time off (PTO) and 6 paid holidays annually. You'll have the flexibility to extend your training period if you need to meet the 1,850-hour requirement.
