The Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at Endeavor Health offers advanced training in MRI, CT and musculoskeletal ultrasound. Sponsored by the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, this one-year fellowship provides robust clinical exposure, hands-on procedures and opportunities to work with elite athletes, including the Chicago Bears and Chicago Fire.
The Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship is a one-year clinical training program based primarily at Skokie Hospital, a high-volume orthopedic center. Fellows gain experience in musculoskeletal MRI, CT, ultrasound and interventional procedures, reviewing 60–120 MRIs and 15–20 CTs daily.
Under the mentorship of five dedicated musculoskeletal attendings — radiology consultants for the Chicago Bears and official radiologists for the Chicago Fire — fellows see a wide range of sports-related pathology. They also participate in care for professional and collegiate athletes.
Educational opportunities include monthly rheumatology conferences, fellow lectures, and journal clubs. Fellows may pursue research in a dedicated 10,000 sq ft imaging facility equipped with 1.5T and 3.0T MR systems.
