The ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at Endeavor Health offers rigorous, personalized training across our four Chicago-based hospitals and through a vital academic partnership with the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. With a high faculty-to-fellow ratio and only two fellows per year, our program provides tailored clinical and research experiences that prepare graduates for both academic and community-based GI careers.

About the program

This three-year ACGME-accredited fellowship offers comprehensive training in clinical gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy. Fellows rotate across Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park and Skokie Hospitals, and gain quaternary-level experience at the University of Chicago through rotations in transplant hepatology, nutrition and inflammatory bowel disease. Research is integral to our curriculum, supported by infrastructure like our IBD Center and the Granger Center for Simulation and Innovation.

Fellows graduate with strong endoscopic skills and a broad range of academic and community practice experience. Approximately half of our graduates enter private practice while the remainder pursue academic careers.
