Shaping future leaders in orthopaedic surgery through high-volume surgical training, advanced technology and academic mentorship in a dedicated orthopaedic specialty hospital.

About the program

The Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Program at the Endeavor Health Orthopaedic & Spine Institute offers a one-year, high-volume surgical training experience with a focus on innovation, mentorship and autonomy. Fellows perform approximately 500 procedures annually, with exposure to:

  • Primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty
  • Minimally invasive anterior/posterior approaches
  • Robotic and computer-navigated procedures
  • Patient-specific instrumentation

Fellows spend up to four days per week in the OR and participate in clinical care across outpatient and inpatient settings. Research, simulation and global health opportunities enhance this comprehensive experience.

The fellowship accepts three fellows annually and is housed at Illinois’ only dedicated orthopaedic and spine hospital, providing a unique and specialized environment for training.
