Our three-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship prepares future leaders in female pelvic medicine through advanced surgical training, compassionate patient care and robust research mentorship. Fellows graduate as expert consultants, investigators and minimally invasive surgeons.

Our program is sponsored by the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.

About the program

The Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (OBGYN) Fellowship Program at the University of Chicago is committed to advancing pelvic medicine through high-quality care, translational research and exceptional training. Fellows gain extensive clinical exposure to complex pelvic floor disorders and become proficient in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic procedures.

Our fellowship promotes a multidisciplinary training environment through collaboration with urogynecology, urology and colorectal surgery. Fellows lead divisional research, serve as first authors and are consistently recognized at national and international meetings.
